A local job board with a map, not a funnel.
Local Job Post is national, but it is organized the way people actually look for work: one region at a time. Every state has its own hub, and every hub has city pages beneath it. A registration lead in San Jose is not competing with listings from Dallas, and neither are the employers who post them.
We require a pay range on every listing. Not because it is fashionable, but because postings with real numbers fill roughly twice as fast and waste far less of everyone's afternoon.
We work with five kinds of employer: event and conference producers, marketing and experiential agencies, production companies, corporate employers, and independent small businesses. Each hires on a different clock, so each gets tools built for that clock — day rates for production, show calendars for producers, one-off posts for the bakery on the corner.
The company is small and headquartered in San Francisco, with account managers covering each region. Office managers, account managers, and content editors run the platform day to day, and our account managers are reachable by phone during business hours.
How we work
Three commitments
Pay ranges are required
Every listing publishes a range. No 'competitive', no 'DOE'.
Local means local
We do not import national feeds to inflate counts. If it is listed here, the work is here.
Moderation is human
New and flagged postings are reviewed by our editors, with a reason given on every rejection.
