Privacy policy

What we collect

When you search or browse, we collect standard request data: pages viewed, approximate city, device type, and referring page. When you create an account we collect your name, email, and the details you choose to add to your profile, including resumes you upload.

Employers who post jobs provide company details, contact information, and billing information handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.

How we use it

To show relevant local listings, send the job alerts you ask for, deliver applications to the employer you applied to, prevent fraud and abuse, and bill employer accounts.

We do not sell personal information. We share your application details only with the employer whose listing you applied to.

Your California privacy rights

California residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, and may opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Submit requests to privacy@localjobpost.com and we will respond within 45 days.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Applications and resumes are retained for two years after submission unless you delete them sooner. Aggregate, non-identifying analytics may be retained indefinitely.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign-in and security, and limited analytics cookies to understand which listings and pages are useful. You can block cookies in your browser; sign-in will not work without essential cookies.
