Terms of service

Last updated October 13, 2026

Using Local Job Post

By using this site you agree to these terms. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, and you are responsible for the accuracy of what you post.

Job seeker accounts

You may create one account and must provide accurate information. Do not submit applications on behalf of another person without their authorization, and do not upload documents you do not have the right to share.

Employer postings

Every listing must describe a real, currently open position, include a good-faith pay range as required by applicable pay transparency laws, and identify the actual hiring employer. Listings that require payment from applicants, advertise multi-level marketing, or discriminate on a protected characteristic will be removed.

We review new and flagged postings and may reject, edit, or expire a listing. Rejections include a reason. Posting fees for removed listings that violate these terms are not refundable.

Sponsored placement

Sponsored listings are labeled as sponsored and are ranked above organic results for matching searches. Sponsorship affects placement only; it does not guarantee applications or hires.

Billing

Single job posts are charged at purchase. Monthly plans renew until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current period. Invoices are due net 30 for accounts on annual agreements.

Refunds: you can request a refund for a job post package from your billing page as long as no job has been posted with it. Once a job is posted using a package, that package is not refundable. Every request is reviewed by a Local Job Post administrator, and approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days.

Content and conduct

You retain rights to content you submit and grant us a license to display and distribute it on the platform. Do not scrape the site, resell listings, or attempt to circumvent access controls.

Disclaimers and liability

We are a marketplace, not an employer or employment agency. We do not screen employers or candidates beyond stated moderation, and we are not a party to any employment relationship. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding twelve months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, with venue in San Francisco County.
