About the role

You'll work evening and weekend corporate events — tech campus dinners, award nights and holiday receptions. Shifts run four to eight hours and are scheduled a week ahead, so you can plan around them. We provide the uniform, a short paid orientation and on-site leads who run each room. Most servers work two to four shifts a week and pick up more during the fall event season.

What you'll do

Set tables, stations and bars before guests arrive
Serve plated courses and pass trays during receptions
Clear, reset and break down at the end of service

What we're looking for

18 or older and able to stand for a full shift
Can lift 30 lb trays and bus tubs
Reliable transport to Oakland and East Bay venues
