Event Barback (Evenings & Weekends)

About the role

Bay Area Event Staffing places barbacks, bartenders and servers at weddings, galas and corporate events across the South Bay. As a barback you keep the bar stocked and running: ice, glassware, garnishes, kegs and restocks between service rushes. Shifts are evenings and weekends, typically 5 to 9 hours, booked a week ahead so you can plan around school or a second job. Most events are in San Jose, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale. We provide the uniform shirt and pay weekly by direct deposit. No bar experience required — we train on your first paid shift alongside a lead bartender.

What you'll do

• Stock ice, glassware, garnishes and product before doors open
• Restock the bar during service and clear empties
• Change kegs and help set up and break down bar stations
• Keep bar areas clean, dry and safe throughout the event

What we're looking for

• 21 or older (California alcohol service rule)
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stay on your feet for a full shift
• Reliable transport to event venues in the South Bay
• Evening and weekend availability
