Event Operations Manager

About the role

You will run operations for six to nine conferences a year, coordinating venue teams, AV vendors, registration staff, and freight. Most shows are in San Francisco, with two annual programs in San Jose. Expect a mix of office planning weeks and long show days.

What you'll do

Build and maintain production schedules, floor plans, and vendor timelines
Lead load-in, show, and strike crews on site
Own the operations budget and reconcile vendor invoices after each show
Run post-show debriefs and keep the operations playbook current

What we're looking for

Three or more years running live events or conferences
Comfortable reading floor plans and venue rigging plots
Available for occasional 12-hour show days and weekend strikes
Valid California driver's license
