Your profile, resume and saved jobs are private. An employer only sees your details when you apply to one of their jobs or message them.
What stays private
- Your dashboard pages are visible only to you and are hidden from search engines.
- Saved jobs, saved searches and alerts are never shared.
- Employers cannot browse or search job seeker profiles.
What an employer receives when you apply
- Your full name, contact email and phone number
- Your headline and the note you wrote
- Your primary resume and the text we read from it
This goes only to the company that posted the job. The apply form reminds you: "Your contact details are shared with this employer only."
Messages
When you message an employer, they see your name and the messages you send in that conversation.
Local Job Post staff
Our team can see accounts and applications so they can run the site, handle support tickets and remove bad listings.
Deleting your data
You can delete a resume at any time from Resume. To close your account or remove other data, open a ticket from Help & support and ask us to delete it.
For the full policy, read the Privacy page.
If it still doesn't work
If you think your information was used in a way it should not have been, open a ticket from Help & support and tell us what happened.
